Cabbage and Sausage Foil Packs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Polish Sausage Cut into 1 1/2" pieces
  • ½ Cabbage Head, cut into 1/2" wedges
  • 20 Red Potatoes Small, quartered
  • 1 Onion Small, sliced
  • 8 tbsp Garlic Butter Store bought or home made, 2 TBS per packet
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste
  • 4 Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your grill to 400 degrees
  2. 2Cut 4 foil sheets 18 x 12 inches. Spray with non-stick spray
  3. 3Divide the cabbage, potatoes, and onion over the foil sheets
  4. 4Add 1 ice cube to each mound
  5. 5Evenly divide the sausage between the packets and top with garlic butter (2 TBS per packet). Salt and pepper
  6. 6Seal each packet well and place on grill
  7. 7Grill for 50 minutes, flipping the packet every 15 minutes
  8. 8Allow to rest 10 minutes before serving
  9. 9Serve with sour cream if desired
  10. 10These can be baked in a 425° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender
