Caramel Icing
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar Packed
- ½ Cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Butter
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
- 1Combine brown sugar, milk, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
- 2Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thick, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3Remove from heat.
- 4Add the powdered sugar and vanilla; beat with a mixer until smooth and slightly warm.
- 5Cool 5 minutes.
- 6Icing will thicken as it cools.
