Caramelized Butternut Squash

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter Melted
  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • Butternut Squash Peeled and cubed

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. 2Cut off and discard the ends of the squash, peel the squash, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove seeds.
  3. 3Cut the squash into 1-1/2 to 1" thick cubes and place them on baking sheet.
  4. 4Add the melted butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5Toss all the ingredients together and spread in a single layer on baking sheet.
  6. 6Roast for 45 to 55 minutes, until the squash is tender and the glaze begins to caramelize.
  7. 7While roasting, turn the squash a few times with a spatula to be sure it browns evenly.
