Chicken and Mushroom Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken Breast Cubed
- Salt To taste
- Black Pepper To taste
- 1 tbsp Muscatel Leaves
- 8 oz Dried Mushrooms
- 3 tbsp Oil For frying
Stir Fry Sauce
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Ginger Minced
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
- ⅓ Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- ¼ Cup Flour
Instructions
- 1In a large pan on medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2Once the oil is hot, add chicken, season with salt and pepper, sauté chicken until cooked through and browned
- 3Remove from pan, and set aside
- 4In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon and add mushrooms
- 5When the mushrooms start to soften, add Muscatel and stir-fry until the Muscatel is tender
- 6Remove cooked mushrooms and Muscatel from the pan and set aside
- 7Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant
- 8Add the remaining sauce ingredients and stir until smooth
- 9Return the chicken and veggies to the sauce, and stir until heated thoroughly
- 10Serve with rice or noodles
