Chicken Rice Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Butter
- ½ Onion medium, diced
- 4 Celery stalks, sliced
- 1 Garlic clove, minced
- 3 Cooked Chicken Breasts shredded
- 1 Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup recipe
- 3 Cup Chicken Stock
- 1 Cup Long Grain White Rice uncooked
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9X13 baking dish.
- 2Melt butter in skillet. Add onion, celery and garlic and sauté until onion is tender, about 3-5 minutes.
- 3Remove from heat and add chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken stock, rice, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- 4Pour mixture into a prepared pan and cover with foil.
- 5Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the rice is tender. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
