Classic Vanilla Buttercream

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter 2 sticks, softened
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • 32 oz Confectioner's Sugar sifted (8 cups)
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • Salt pinch

Instructions

  1. 1Beat butter until light and fluffy
  2. 2Add vanilla and almond extract
  3. 3Gradually add in the confectioner's sugar, milk, and salt; frequently scrape down the sides and bottom of bowl
  4. 4Once incorporated, whip frosting for at least 3 minutes on medium high to high
  5. 5If frosting is too thick to spread, gradually beat in additional milk
  6. 6Can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Rewhip before using.
