Garlic Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 ⅓ tbsp Oil 1 TBS + 1 tsp
- 1 Cup Broccoli
- 1 Cup Mushrooms
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper
- 1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- Salt To taste
- Black Pepper To taste
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- ¾ Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 ½ tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- 1Heat 1 tsp of oil in a large pan or wok over medium high heat
- 2Add broccoli, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes and transfer it back to the pan
- 3Wipe the pan clean, then heat 1 TBS of oil over high heat
- 4Add the chicken to the pan. Season with salt and pepper
- 5Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until chicken is browned and cooked through
- 6Lower heat to low. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds
- 7Add the vegetables to the pan
- 8In a small bowl whisk together the chicken broth, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch
- 9Pour the sauce over the chicken mixture and bring to a simmer
- 10Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until sauce has just thickened
- 11Serve with rice
