One Pan Garlic Herb Chicken and Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 3 Chicken 3-6 chicken thighs or boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste
  • 1 lb Asparagus Ends trimmed
  • 3 tbsp Butter Divided
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Minced
  • ½ tsp Basil
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ½ tsp Thyme
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. 1Season Chicken with salt and pepper on both sides. Melt 2 TBS of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Stir in garlic and herbs and cook another minute until the garlic is fragrant
  2. 2Reduce heat to medium, add chicken to pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes (chicken should be nearly, but not completely cooked)
  3. 3Push chicken over to the side of pan, add remaining 1 TBS of butter. Once butter is melted, add the asparagus. Season asparagus with salt and pepper. Cook, rotating throughout, for 4-6 minutes until asparagus is tender and chicken is cooked through
  4. 4Serve immediately
