Peanut Butter Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Cup Light Brown Sugar Packed
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  • ½ Cup Butter At room temperature
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ Cup Milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips For topping

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°, grease and flour a 10X15 cake pan.
  2. 2In a large bowl mix the flour, brown sugar, peanut butter, and butter with an electric mixer.
  3. 3Blend at low speed until crumbly. Add the baking powder, baking soda, milk, vanilla, and eggs and blend at low speed until everything is wet, then beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
  4. 4Pour into the prepared cake pan and bake in the middle of your oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
  5. 5Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then spread the frosting on the hot cake and sprinkle 1 cup of mini chocolate chips over cake.
