Peppermint Patties
Ingredients
- ¼ Cup Butter softened
- ⅓ Cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1 tsp Peppermint Extract use 1 tsp.-taste - add if you need- 1 mix!
- 3 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 3 Cup Dark Dipping Chocolate
- Chocolate Sprinkles if desired
Instructions
- 1Combine butter, corn syrup, extract, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer for about 3 minutes, until ingredients are well combined and are holding together.
- 2Remove dough from bowl, break off into 2 tsp. sized sections, roll into a ball, and gently flatten with your hands. Put patties down one pan lined with wax or parchment paper. Once all the patties are made place the pan in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Melt the chocolate & with the microwave for 1 minute & 30 seconds. Let sit in microwave! Remove gently and stir. Remove peppermint patties from freezer. Use a fork (and dipping tool to dip each patty into the chocolate, flip to coat the other side), then try to remove any excess. Transfer coated patties to wax paper to cool.
- 3Store in an airtight container, refrigerate if preferred not is not necessary.
