Pineapple Dream Dessert

Ingredients

    Crust

    • 2 ½ Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
    • ½ Cup Butter melted

    Filling

    • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
    • ½ Cup Butter room temperature
    • 2 Cup Powdered Sugar
    • 8 oz Cool Whip
    • 20 oz Crushed Pineapple canned, drained

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 300°. Crush graham crackers.
  2. 2Drain pineapple.
  3. 3Melt ½ cup (1 stick) butter.
  4. 4Add 2½ cups crushed graham crumbs to melted butter and stir until combined.
  5. 5Measure out 2 cups of the crumb mixture and press it firmly into the bottom of an 8"x8" or 9"x9" square baking dish.
  6. 6Bake crumb mixture for about 8-10 minutes and then allow to cool completely.
  7. 7Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy.
  8. 8Add powdered sugar to cream cheese and butter and mix until incorporated and smooth.
  9. 9Add a big heaping tablespoon of drained pineapple to the creamed mixture and stir.
  10. 10Spread cream mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  11. 11Combine the cool whip with the crushed pineapple. Stir well. Spread the cool whip mixture over the cream cheese mixture.
  12. 12Sprinkle the remaining graham crackers over the top.
  13. 13Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
