Smothered Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Rice Uncooked
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 4 ½ Pork Chops About 4-5 chops
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 French Onion Soup 1 can
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  1. 1Make rice as directed on package.
  2. 2Heat oil in skillet, until hot. Cook garlic and pork chops in oil, until pork chops are browned on both sides, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. 3In small bowl mix soup and cornstarch. Pour over pork chops, heat to boiling.
  4. 4Reduce heat, cover and cook until pork chops are no longer pink and meat thermometers reads 160°.
  5. 5Serve over rice or use rice as side dish.
