Smothered Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Rice Uncooked
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 4 ½ Pork Chops About 4-5 chops
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 French Onion Soup 1 can
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- 1Make rice as directed on package.
- 2Heat oil in skillet, until hot. Cook garlic and pork chops in oil, until pork chops are browned on both sides, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 3In small bowl mix soup and cornstarch. Pour over pork chops, heat to boiling.
- 4Reduce heat, cover and cook until pork chops are no longer pink and meat thermometers reads 160°.
- 5Serve over rice or use rice as side dish.
