Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients

  • 1 Spaghetti Squash Whole
  • Olive Oil For brushing
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. 2With a very sharp knife, cut off top and bottom of squash so that it will stand secure and flat on your cutting board.
  3. 3Slice the squash in half.
  4. 4Brush each half of squash with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  5. 5Place cut sides down on rimmed baking sheet and pierce in oven.
  6. 6Bake for about 40 minutes, or until you can pierce the squash with a fork.
  7. 7Let cool for about 15 minutes, or until squash is cool enough to handle.
  8. 8With a fork, scrape out the spaghetti-like strands and prepare as desired.
