Spaghetti Squash
Ingredients
- 1 Spaghetti Squash Whole
- Olive Oil For brushing
- Salt To taste
- Black Pepper To taste
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 375°.
- 2With a very sharp knife, cut off top and bottom of squash so that it will stand secure and flat on your cutting board.
- 3Slice the squash in half.
- 4Brush each half of squash with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- 5Place cut sides down on rimmed baking sheet and pierce in oven.
- 6Bake for about 40 minutes, or until you can pierce the squash with a fork.
- 7Let cool for about 15 minutes, or until squash is cool enough to handle.
- 8With a fork, scrape out the spaghetti-like strands and prepare as desired.
